RESEARCH

*** UPDATE *** I passed my viva on 15th March 2010! ***

My research interests are in political philosophy and normative theory, especially as applied to the global level. I'm interested in both practical questions of global justice, as well as more theoretical and metaethical questions.

I am also interested in the idea of political philosophy as more than an academic practice, and am currently exploring new teaching methods that can allow students to engage with real-world problems in political philosophy.

Doctoral Thesis: 'Theories of Global Justice: Relational and Non-Relational Approaches' For an overview of the topic of my thesis, as well as detailed chapter breakdowns and a bibliography please click here.
