Spring 2009
Autumn 2008
This semester (Spring 2009) I am tutoring on one of the department's inquiry-based learning modules: Key Arguments. This module requires level one students to work in small research groups to produce two presentations on a key argument from the history of philsophy, and the philosopher who made it.
In the next academic year (Autumn 2009) I will be co-teaching a brand-new level three module on political philosophy in practice, with a fellow Sheffield postgraduate sudent Joshua Forstenzer. We have secured some funding for the development of this course from the university's Centre for Inquiry-Based Learning in the Arts and Social Sciences (CILASS). Whilst teaching this course I will be taking a break from my thesis.
Past Teaching
I have tutored on several level one undergraduate courses at Sheffield, including Human Rights, Matters of Life and Death, Reason and Argument, and Knowledge, Justification and Doubt.
I have also been fortunate enough to have been asked to cover some lectures for both level one and level three courses, such as Global Justice, Human Rights, and Death and Dying.
